Hi there! I’m Dawn, a teacher turned curriculum designer. I’m so glad you’re here.
You are amazing! You bring your very best to the classroom each and every day. You know that what you’re doing is special – a job like no other. You shape the minds that will become the future of our world. And you do it with pride and professionalism. Thank you!
You also have a lot to juggle. Between the steady stream of meetings, emails, parent conferences, testing, grading, data tracking, and other extra duties there is precious little time left for planning and preparing lessons.
You know what your students need to work on. You want materials that support your lessons and will engage your students in meaningful activities. You have basic curriculum and plenty of ideas. However, it takes a lot of your time to pull it all together.
Free up your time. I’m here to help you save time by providing engaging, top-quality resources that you can use in your classroom today. I create printable lessons, activities, and games for you to download and start using with very little prep. Every resource is created with high-standards and a focus on learning.
Details matter. Because so many students are visual learners, I use eye-catching graphics along with a crisp design that is not too distracting. I love when a child sees an activity and gets excited simply because it looks fun! To offer you flexibility, most materials come with both color and black lines. Some resources are editable so you can use your own word lists. I have also just begun creating digital interactive resources that can be used with Google Drive™ or Google Classroom™ apps.
Try it out. Visit my Free Teacher Resource Library to access a growing collection of teaching materials you can download for free. I also offer hundreds of other resources in the Polliwog Place store. and in my Teachers Pay Teachers shop.
My background. I have been involved in education most of my life. I love teaching and helping students grow. I also enjoy graphic design. Creating curriculum resources is a wonderful way for me to combine these two passions. I have two amazing children that keep me on my toes and teach me new things every day. Designing curriculum resources allows me to spend more time with them. I also enjoy traveling, creating craft projects, pretending that I know how to cook, and dabbling in photography.
