Bring the fun and excitement of Christmas into your math and literacy activities!
I enjoy seeing my students’ eyes light up when they see an engaging new learning game or center activity with elves, reindeer, and of course the jolly guy in the red suit. Students have fun while practicing important reading, writing, and math skills.
Christmas Elves Sight Word BINGO Game (It’s Editable!)
Students practice reading sight words as they play BINGO. My favorite part about this is the word list is completely editable, so you can use the words your class is studying now.
Christmas Measuring Length Activity Cards
Students explore different ways to measure length with these fun Christmas measuring cards. They choose a card and measure the length of the line. The lines are not labeled, so your class can practice measuring with inches, centimeters, or non-standard measures. You choose. Students can also measure with paperclips, cute Christmas erasers, snapping cubes, or the included printable non-standard rulers.
Christmas Counting Numbers Game: Race to 20, 50, or 100
Race with Santa and Rudolf to build number sense! Students roll the number cube and count the dots. Place markers to cover that number of spaces. Take turns rolling and adding numbers to get to 20, 50, or 100.
Christmas Hidden Words “I Spy” Activity (It’s Editable!)
Grab your magnifying glasses and search for the hidden sight words with these fun “I Spy” activity pages. Students practice reading and writing your custom list of words. You can easily differentiate by creating a new word list for each of your reading levels. Just type in your words and go!
