Silent Hand Signals Enhance Instruction
I just found this on Pinterest (where else?) and had to share. It’s a video from the Teaching Channel demonstrating silent hand signals in classroom. I’ve heard of using hand signals to communicate for things like sharpening a pencil, using the restroom, etc. This system takes silent hand signals to a whole new level. Hand signals are used during instruction to improve learning. The signals guide and encourage students as they are speaking in class. I so want to try this out. Here’s the video.
